About TSHMPR
Becoming a member of the Tennessee Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations (TSHMPR) can be one of the smartest moves you've ever made.
TSHMPR is the largest organization of healthcare communicators in Tennessee. Our mission is to enhance the value of healthcare marketing and communications and serve our members through education, skills development and information sharing. By joining TSHMPR, you'll become part of the sharing of ideas on topics such as issues management, strategic planning, media relations and marketing communications. You'll also participate in setting standards and goals for our profession.
A board of directors elected by the membership and representing the seven regions of the state governs the society. Three-at large associate team members also serve on the board. This board meets four times each year to plan educational activities and formulate policies for the society.
Regional representatives to the board hold responsibility for voicing the concerns and suggestions of the members they represent. Regional directors plan and promote meetings of local TSHMPR members.
